    CHEYENNE, WYOMING - The Laramie County Community College Board of Trustees will hold its regular business meeting on Wednesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. in the new LCCC Board Room, College Community Center, room 128.

  • New dino discovery paper co-authored by LCCC instructor

    Sixty-eight million years ago, the vast expanses of what we now know as Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana were teeming with life in a lush, warm environment. This ancient setting, characterized by sprawling floodplains, meandering streams and dense forests of angiosperms and towering trees, played host to an incredible diversity of late Cretaceous dinosaurs. Among them roamed the Triceratops and the formidable Tyrannosaurus Rex, as well as the newly discovered, parrot-like Eoneophron infernalis. This part of the American West, skirted by the Western Interior Seaway, offered a rich mosaic of terrestrial and coastal ecosystems where dinosaurs thrived.

    LCCC Theatre presents "Chaps!" - Apr. 18-20, 25-27

    LCCC Theatre presents "Chaps!," a musical set in London in 1944 when the American group Tex Riley's Singing Cowboys is scheduled to perform in a special radio broadcast at the BBC, but they're late to the studio. The performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Apr. 18-20, 25-27 in the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium on the LCCC Cheyenne Campus.
