Writing & Communications Center
The Writing & Communications Center (WCC) helps students become more independent, confident writers, speakers, and thinkers through a range of writing and public speaking support services and college success skills assistance. By listening, asking questions, and providing resources, our writing consultants empower students to evaluate and make decisions about their own work, encouraging them to develop positive attitudes about their communication skills.
Our services are rooted in the belief that purpose- and process-driven, focused, well-organized, well-supported work that meets assignment requirements is most important in effective communication. Thus, we endeavor to create better writers and speakers, not better writing and speeches.
Appointments are highly encouraged, and walk-in sessions may be available. To schedule a tutoring appointment online, go to tutor.lccc.wy.edu.
The Student Success Center (SCC) is available to help students with course content, homework, questions, study strategies, and test preparation in nearly all subjects. For more information about course content tutoring, please contact the SSC or visit the Ludden Library and Learning Commons, LIB 429.
