Volleyball team splits on the road

Golden Eagles lose to Northwest and defeat Sheridan College.
The Golden Eagles women's volleyball team lost to the Northwest College Trappers 3-0 on Oct. 19 in Powell, Wyo. Then on Oct. 20, LCCC traveled to Sheridan, Wyo., and defeated Sheridan College Generals 3-2. The lady Eagles fell behind in the first two sets, but finished strong in the next three sets to take the win.
Oct. 19
Northwest College
LCCC lost 16-25, 21-25, 25-27.

Oct. 20
Sheridan College
LCCC won 22-25, 22-25, 25-14, 25-16, 15-12.
Patience Jones had nine kills on 14 attempts for. 643% hitting and had three blocks with six digs. Jemma Woods had 13 digs. McKenzie Long had 51 assists

The Golden Eagles (11-15 overall, 4-7 Region IX) will host the Eastern Wyoming College Lancers at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23.
