Poetry author will be a presenter at the Other Voices Women's Reading Series.
Kristin Abraham, an English instructor at Laramie County Community College, is being recognized for her writing talent far beyond the Wyoming borders. She’ll be a presenter at the Other Voices Women’s Reading Series on Feb. 10 in Tucson, Ariz.

Abraham will be doing a poetry reading at Antigone Books. She is the author of two poetry books – Little Red Riding Hood Missed the Bus and Orange Reminds You of Listening. She also serves as co-founder, managing editor and poetry editor of the literary magazine Spittoon. During her presentation, she’ll be reading from Little Red Riding Hood Missed the Bus and a new manuscript of poems called The Disappearing Cowboy Trick.

Also tabbed to speak at the series is Arpine Konyalian Grenier, who was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and whose works, described as a mosaic of narrative that take us out of a provincial concentration on life to encompass broader social and geopolitical issues, have been published in several anthologies and other publications. She also has four published collections, including The Concession Stand: Exaptation at the Margins.

Abraham will be doing another reading on March 8 at Emory University in Atlanta.
