Bulk up your skills with a Career Readiness certificate

Albany County Campus six-week course is free, but it's limited to 30 students.

Need to find a job or keep the one you have? The Teaching and Learning Center at Laramie County Community College’s Albany County Campus and Wyoming Workforce Services are ready to provide the workforce education and skills you need to be successful.

Enroll now in the ACC’s free Career Readiness program. The session will meet from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from Nov. 5-Dec. 18. The six-week sessions are free and cover Career Readiness Certificate preparation and testing; individual classes including résumés and cover letters, dressing and interviewing for success, math and writing on the job, time and money management, Office 2007 computer skills, health and safety regulations, employment forms and laws and business communication and professionalism; and GED preparation and testing.

Preparation materials are provided, and testing costs are covered.
