Biofeedback
What is biofeedback?
Biofeedback is a self-regulation training technique used to help involuntary body functions become more voluntary. Electronic instruments are used to pick up signals from the body that can be associated with various functions within the body.
Feedback is then evaluated and interpreted. This information can be used to teach someone what necessary adjustments need to be made to improve overall health and functioning.
Ideally, the body becomes its own feedback device so instrumentation is no longer needed to assess bodily functions.
