A.C.T. Now! certifications

A.C.T. Now! offers certificates in high demand fields. The following is a list of certificate programs, the deadlines to apply to the program and when certain classes are offered. Contact A.C.T Now! at 307.772.7351 or by email for more information on how to apply.

Information sessions

Those interested in the A.C.T. Now! certifications must attend an  information session. The following are upcoming sessions that A.C.T. Now! is offering. Please call 307.772.7351 or email for an invitation and location.
  • Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.
  • Oct. 30 at 10 a.m.
  • Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

Coding and Billing Refresher Course

  • Application deadline is Sept. 19, 2014 and classes will start Nov. 3, 2014. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • Anatomy and Physiology refresher course – six weeks
  • Class divides into either Certified Coding Associate or Certified Professional Biller classes for four weeks.
  • American Health Information Management Association or American Association of Professional Coders certification paid.

Health Information Technology and Management

  • A.C.T. Now! is currently taking ongoing applications. The program will be held online and at the Albany County Campus.

Pharmacy Technician

  • Application deadline is Sept. 20, 2014 and classes will start in October/November. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • The program is about four months long. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam paid.

Petroleum Process Technology

  • Application deadline is Oct. 29, 2014 and classes will start in January 2015. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • The program is about four months long, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • OSHA 10 and Process Technology certificates paid.

Computer Technician/Network Administrator Semester and Boot Campus classes

  • A.C.T. Now! is taking ongoing applications for various qualified courses.
  • Partial tuition is paid on qualified courses.
  • One vendor certification paid.

Dental

  • Sealants certification: Application deadline is Oct. 15 and classes will start on Nov. 21. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • Radiography certification: Application deadline is Sept. 5 and classes will start on Sept. 21. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification: Application deadline is Sept. 5 and classes will start on Sept. 21. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • Class and certifications paid.

Certified Medical Assistant

  • Application deadline is Oct. 29, 2014 and classes will start in January 2015. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • The program is about four months long and a one-month externship.
  • National Healthcare Associate Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification paid.

Dental Assistant

  • Application deadline is Jan. 30. 2015 and classes will start in March/April of 2015. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.
  • The program is about four months long and one-week externship.

Registered Nurses

  • This is for third and fourth semester students for the Spring 2015 semester.
  • Application deadline is Nov. 15, 2014. Students must already be accepted into the program to be eligible.

Sonographers

  • Application deadline is Nov. 15, 2014. The program is taking applications for the Spring 2015 semester for students who are already accepted into the Sonography program. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.

Radiographers

  • Application deadline is Nov. 15, 2014. The program is taking applications for the Spring 2015 semester for students who are already accepted into the Radiography program. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.

Dental Hygiene

  • Application deadline is Nov. 15, 2014. The program is taking applications for the Spring 2015 semester for students who are already accepted into the Dental Hygiene program. Classes will be held at LCCC in Cheyenne.

Computer classes

  • This is for qualified classes. Application deadline is Dec. 15, 2014. The program is taking applications for the Spring 2015 semester. Classes will be held online and at the Albany County Campus.
