COMPENSATION STUDY UPDATE
We have narrowed the search for a consultant to one firm. We are in the process of
checking references, then we will begin the negotiations. In preparation for the start
of the study, please ensure your email is accessible and you check it frequently.
Supervisors, please make sure all of your employees can access their email should
they be asked to be interviewed. We will send out notices for meetings and interviews.
The Working Group consists of Tammy Maas, Dorothy Moen, Tara Rood, Mindy Layson, Bobby
Baker, Meghan Kelly, Jonathan Carrier, Jeri Griego, Pam DeMartin, and Dave Vinatieri.
Dr. Joe Schaffer, Tara Nethercott, Jamie Spezzano, and Janet Webb are serving as advisors.

Employee Satisfaction Survey ... WE ARE WORKING ON THE RESULTS
This year, HR and IR are partnering to facilitate the analysis and chart the way ahead.
Look for opportunities to participate in Focus Groups in the fall. Last year's committee
agreed to continue serving, and we are including the Staff Senate President and Faculty
Senate President. Members include Ann Murray, Tammy Maas, Bobby Baker, Kim Bender,
Melvin Hawkins, Caroline Ross, Meghan Kelly, Jen Thompson, Rhonda Priest, Aaron Casteel,
Mohamed Chakhad, and Rob McNabb.

HR is Cleaning House
Thanks to Mindy Layson for poring through 16 boxes, 1900 electronic records, and a
decade of information to get our records cleaned up in Colleague and our file cabinet.
Our filing system now only has current employees and adjuncts who have been paid since
2015. All other records have been purged-both electronically and paper wise.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS DATES:
For assistance in completing performance appraisals, contact Bobby Baker at 1685.
- Faculty – Due to HR by May 6
- All other Employees – Due to HR by June 30
Employee Picnic – Friday, June 3
The annual LCCC employee picnic is June 3 at the Holliday Park Shelter beginning at
noon. LCCC employees are encouraged to bring their families and a side dish to share.
There will be games for the kids.
Aug. – Watch for mandatory supervisory training.
