Remember the Affordable Care Act?   It’s coming to you….

Organizations that employ more than 50 people (LCCC is one of these) are required to report to the IRS on the health insurance, if any, offered to their full-time employees. The Form 1095-C includes information about the health insurance coverage offered to you and, if applicable, your family.

You will receive your Form 1095-C by Feb. 1, 2016, as the law provides. You may receive multiple Form 1095-Cs if you worked for multiple applicable large employers in the previous calendar year. You will need to submit information from the form in 2016 as a part of your personal tax filing for 2015.  Please watch for it and keep it for your tax filing.

UPDATED Personnel Action Form

The Human Resources and Payroll departments formed a Process Improvement Working Group in September. Our charter is to carefully analyze all processes that intersect between our two departments and leverage opportunities to enhance these services for the campus community. The first process we tackled was to review and update the Personnel Action Form (PAF). After using the form for a year and half, we realized we needed some additional information and needed to make the form more user friendly. We sought input from our customers on how to improve the form and received some valuable feedback. Thanks to all who provided feedback! This form is critical to accurate coding of new employees, inputting changes in personnel actions and tracking employee benefits. We are pleased to unveil the updated version of the PAF along with instructions and training. The new and improved PAF and instructions can be found in Eagles Eye>HR Office>Hiring and Recruitment.

ATTENTION SUPERVISORS – Please send us your Termination PAF for employees who will complete their work with us at the end of the semester.

People matter...

“I moved back to Wyoming from Boston a year ago, but I didn’t feel as if I had re-established my home until I obtained my current position at LCCC. I’ve never felt more welcome when starting a new job. Here I’m able to pursue my passion for teaching and to work alongside truly remarkable faculty, administrators and staff members. I hope that I can make my home at LCCC for many years to come.”
