Michele Albert teaches human anatomy & physiology I/II classes and has been a full-time instructor at Laramie County Community College since 2007. She was an adjunct instructor for equine anatomy/ physiology and reproduction classes for many years at LCCC prior to becoming a full-time instructor.

Michele is a practicing veterinarian, earning her DVM degree from Colorado State University and holding licensure in Wyoming, Colorado and California.

Prior to attending professional school, she received her B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wyoming and then spent several years performing research in an infectious diseases lab at the University of Texas Health Science Center and Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, TX.

Michele grew up in WY and has raised her family here. She loves the state and considers it her forever home. She and her husband breed and raise purebred Arabian cutting and cow horses. They have a house full of adopted critters that keep their free-time very busy.
