Living in Wyoming

LCCC's main campus is in Cheyenne, Wyoming. As a resident of Cheyenne, you will enjoy the convenience, security and intimacy of living in a medium-sized community with theater, music, galleries, gardens, parks, restaurants and museums. Learn more about the area and what it has to offer. International students are able to study at the Cheyenne campus only.
 
Community College Benefits
Two years at a community college is the most economical way to begin a four-year degree. Community college students pay less to take the same courses offered at universities, then transfer their credits to the universities where they can finish their degrees.

Eligibility

LCCC can only admit international students with an F-1 visa.

Programs of Study & Location

Students are only eligible to take classes at the main campus in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Students must be enrolled as full-time (12+ credits), degree-seeking students and are limited to one online or HyFlex class per semester to maintain their F-1 status in a full course of study.

Student Employment

Students who enter the U.S. with an F-1 visa and maintain this status are eligible to work on the LCCC campus up to 20 hours per week. Learn more about working in the U.S.

Health Insurance

Students are required to provide proof of health insurance at the point of application. 

Housing

On-campus housing is available at the Cheyenne campus and is highly recommended for international students. Learn more about living on campus.
 
Other housing options may be available for international students; however, there is no off-campus housing within walking distance of the LCCC campus.
