LIFE classes coming to LCCC in April

CHEYENNE, WYO. — The opportunity for learning really is for everyone regardless of age, and this year’s crop of LIFE classes at Laramie County Community College confirms that ideal.

LIFE (Learning is for Everyone) classes take place on Saturdays, April 11, 18 and 25. Sessions run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include morning and afternoon sessions in addition to a lunch with a special guest speaker.

Programming is tailored to those who are 50+, retired or even semi-retired. However, anyone is welcome to register. Participants will have a number of class options for each of the six sessions. The partial list of classes include:

  • Fly Cheap, Stay Cheap, Travel Cheap
  • Military Strategies
  • Gardening
  • Make Your Own Greeting Cards
  • The Third Reich
  • Creative Art Journaling
  • Cheyenne History

The cost of $75 covers classes on the three Saturdays, as well as all lunches, snacks and beverages.

Registration is now underway. To sign up, contact LCCC’s office of Outreach and Workforce Development at 307.778.1236.
