LCCC Foundation Donor Scholarships 

There are more than 400 donor scholarships available at Laramie County Community College. Provided by generous individuals and organizations, these scholarships give nearly every type of student the chance to receive extra money for college.

All scholarships listed here require applicants to complete the LCCC Foundation Donor Scholarship Application. This application needs to be completed only once per year. 

Some require a separate application and/or additional documentation. 

Unless otherwise indicated, completed scholarship applications are due by April 1 for the following academic year.

Albany County Campus GED Scholarship
Students must demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA. The student shall have participated in the ACC GED program obtaining a GED certificate. The student shall attend classes on the Albany County Campus.

Association for Children with Learning Disabilities Scholarship
Available to seniors graduating from any Cheyenne high school who have an identified learning disabilities. A copy of your IEP must also submitted to the LCCC Scholarship and Financial Aid Office.

Pastora San Juan Cafferty Scholarship
Available to non-traditional students who are part-time or full-time students. Preference will be given to a student who is Irish or Hispanic.

Gail Chaimson Horst Memorial Scholarship
Available to students majoring in fields of practical application such as medical science, business, paralegal etc.

Cheyenne Candlelighters Scholarship
Student shall be or have been a Laramie County resident when treated for or diagnosed with cancer between the age of 0-20 years old. Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Ralph and Beryl Cline Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents attending classes on the main Cheyenne campus. Student shall maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Colorado Wyoming Association of Women for Education
Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated leadership through education. This leadership could be demonstrated by doing a presentation at a conference or educating others on a particular subject. The student must maintain a 3.0 grade point average. The student shall be a Colorado or Wyoming resident.

Timothy E. Cowley Scholarship
Student must be a Laramie County resident taking classes on the Cheyenne campus. Preference will be given to a student who is minimally over the eligibility of receiving a Pell Grant. Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Chris Dray Honorary Scholarship
Available to disabled students who are Wyoming residents. Documentation of disability must also be submitted to the LCCC Scholarship and Financial Aid Office.

Shawn Dubie Memorial Scholarship
Available to LCCC rodeo team members who maintain a GPA of 2.0.

Eric Allen Emery Memorial Scholarship 
Available to graduates of Whiting High School attending classes on the Albany County Campus. Preference will be given to a male minority student. Financial need is a factor.

Arden G. Epler Family Trust Scholarship 
Available to students enrolled in a degree seeking program of study; student shall maintain a 3.0 GPA.

First National Bank of Wyoming
Available to Wyoming residents maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Anne Foley Memorial Scholarship
Available to female Laramie County resident attending LCCC full-time. Must have previously completed no more than 12 credit hours.

Gamma Alpha Chapter of Tau Epsilon Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents attending classes on either the Cheyenne or Albany County campuses. Students must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Robert and Mary Garland Family
Available to full-time students attending LCCC's Albany County Campus. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Peter and Dina Harrison Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents. Students shall have and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Hell on Wheels Rodeo Scholarship
Available to full-time students attending class on the main Cheyenne campus. Students must be residents of Wyoming, Colorado, or Nebraska. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA and be a participant on the rodeo team.

Laramie GM Auto Center Scholarship
Available to full-time students attending the LCCC Albany County Campus. Students must have graduated from a Wyoming Albany County high school.

Debora and John Kaiser Scholarship
Available to part-time or full-time LCCC students.

Paul and Colin Kaiser Memorial Scholarship
Student can be part-time or full-time.

Ladies of the Elks Scholarship
Available to Cheyenne residents who are full-time students; preference will be given to a student who is active in an LCCC club that has a strong community service connection. Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Laramie County Association for Children with Learning Disabilities
Available to current seniors attending Central High School, East High School, or Triumph High School. Must have a documented learning disability and submit an IEP with scholarship application.

Latin American Association of Cheyenne Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents who are graduates from a Cheyenne high school or received their GED in Cheyenne. Students must be full-time maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship will be given to a Hispanic student. Financial need is a factor.

Liz and Sam's Special Spirit Scholarship for Single Parents
Available to single parents pursuing a degree or certificate. Student shall maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Betty Marsh Memorial Scholarship
Available to students taking classes on the Cheyenne main campus. Students shall maintain a 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to a female student taking chemistry. Financial need is a factor.

Edythe Nelsen/Ethel Herrin Self-Sufficiency Scholarship
Available to full- or part-time students. Must maintain 2.0 GPA.

Edythe Nelsen/Ethel Herrin Memorial Scholarship
Available to students enrolled in at least one class pertaining to vocational advancement or relating to an academic degree program. Student must be a resident of Laramie County and maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Nelson Family
Attention Homes Scholarship - Available to students who have successfully graduated from the Attention Homes Program. Students shall maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Available to students attending any LCCC campus. Preference will be given to members of Phi Theta Kappa. Students shall maintain a 3.5 GPA.

Police Protective Association/Don Edwards Memorial Scholarship
Student must be a member or member's dependent of the Police Protective Association and be enrolled in a degree or certificate program. The student must possess and maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Chencho Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship
Available to students registered for at least six credit hours pursuing a degree in language or enrolled in language classes. Must have a high school or college GPA of 2.5.

Rotary Club of Cheyenne Endowed Scholarship
Available to graduates of Triumph High School. Preference will be given to an entering freshman.

Sons of Italy Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents attending LCCC as full-time students. Students shall maintain a 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Scottish Society of Southeast Wyoming Scholarship
Available to a resident of Laramie County who is a full-time student maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Norman S. Tucker Memorial Honors Scholarship
Available to non-traditional students 25 years or older, who is maintaining a 3.75 GPA while attending full-time at LCCC. Graduates of Albany or Laramie County high school. Must have completed 24 credits prior to receiving this scholarship.

UniWyo Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Available to student who is a member or member's dependent of the UniWyo Federal Credit Union.

Wells Fargo Bank
Available to self-supporting, heads of household, non-traditional students enrolling at least half-time in a degree or certificate program. Must reside in Laramie County or Albany county. Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.

J. Arlington and Edvina Wiederspahn Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents attending as full-time students on the Cheyenne campus. Must enter LCCC as a freshman having no more than 12 credit hours with a 2.5 GPA. Must be a high school graduate or GED recipient and must demonstrate financial need.

Zonta Club of Laramie Scholarship
Available to female students attending classes on the Albany County Campus. Student must be a full-time student and an Albany County resident. Student shall maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Angie's Spirit Award Scholarship
Students must maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average.

Richard M. Baker Memorial Scholarship 
Available to needy students.

Richard M. Baker Scholarship 2
Available to non-traditional students with preference being given to Wyoming residents. Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Dean Bartow Educational Journey Scholarship
The intent of this award is to provide an LCCC student financial assistance through scholarship funding to pursue their dream of higher education. The student shall be a Wyoming resident taking classes on the Cheyenne campus, and the student shall have or maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA.

Atillio Bedont Scholarship
Available to a second year student who has completed 24 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA.

Dwight Bonham Memorial
Available to full-time students who have completed at least 24 semester hours with at least a 2.0 GPA.

Cheyenne-Laramie County Employees Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Available to full-time student attending LCCC who is a member or member's dependent of the Cheyenne-Laramie County Employees Federal Credit Union. Proof of membership must also be submitted to the LCCC Scholarship and Financial Aid Office.

Jean K. Cotton DVM Memorial Scholarship
Available to female students who are single parents. Student shall be full-time and maintain a 2.5 GPA. Preference for this scholarship will be given to a Wyoming resident.

James W. Crader Sr. and Ella Mae Crader
Available to Wyoming residents attending the LCCC main, Cheyenne, campus.

Davis Book Fund
Available to full-time non-traditional students attending classes on the main Cheyenne campus.

Deming/Miller Elementary Alumni Scholarship
Available to full-time students who attended Deming/Miller Elementary for at least two academic years. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Edington Family Scholarship
Available to students with a diagnosed learning disability.

Edington Family International Student Scholarship
Available to an international student attending LCCC full-time. Must maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA.

Beverly Elrod Cherishes Children Scholarship
Available to students pursuing a degree in early childhood education and demonstrating financial need. Students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.

First Cheyenne Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Available to full-time student attending a Wyoming community college or the University of Wyoming. Student must be a resident of Laramie County or a member or member's dependent of the First Cheyenne Federal Credit Union.

Friends of the Murphys Scholarship
Available to traditional age full-time students attending classes on the main, Cheyenne, campus. Students must be Wyoming residents and they must possess and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Alex Frye Memorial Scholarship
Available to a nontraditional student who shall maintain a 2.8 GPA; financial need will be a consideration

Sherri Gilkerson Memorial Scholarship
Available to female Wyoming residents taking classes on the main, Cheyenne, campus. Preference will be given first to a resident of Niobrara County, second to a resident of Lance Creek, WY.

Greek Festival Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents. Students shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Pat Gosbee Memorial Scholarship
Available to students attending classes on the main Cheyenne campus. Student shall maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA. Additionally, submit an brief statement explaining how your life has been impacted by cancer either personally or a family member.

Dr. and Mrs. Dan C. Hinkle Scholarship
Available to dependent LCCC student who is receiving less than $200 in federal assistance.

Elizabeth Hite's "Friendship" Scholarship
Preference given to single parents. Student shall maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Financial need is a factor.

Knights of Pythias Scholarship
Priority for selection will be in the following order: 1) relative of member in good standing or member in good standing of the Cheyenne Knights of Pythias; 2) non-traditional student over 23 years of age; 3) current year graduate of Cheyenne East, Cheyenne Central or Triumph high schools.

Joe Kotze and Mary Johns Memorial Scholarship
Available to full-time students maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Laramie Police Department Foundation Scholarship
Available to all Laramie Police Department current/active employees and those LPD retired employees, their immediate family members. Immediate family would include spouse, children, adoptive children, and step children. Students shall maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Latino Golf Classic Scholarship
Preference will be given to Latino/Latina students who are Albany County residents and who are attending LCCC as a full-time student. Student shall maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA.

LCCC Employee Sponsored Scholarship
Available to part-time, non-traditional students with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Bill McCoy Memorial Scholarship
Available to full-time or part-time students enrolled in English or Mathematics. Preference will be given to non-traditional students. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

McGee, Hearne and Piaz Scholarship
Available to residents of Wyoming with demonstrated financial need enrolled at LCCC. Minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Order of the Eastern Star, Oakleaf Chapter #6 Youth Scholarship
Available to masonic related students pursuing higher learning.

Byron and Alice Orton Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents attending LCCC on the main campus or Eastern Laramie County outreach.

Palmquist Family Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents who are attending LCCC as a full-time student. The student shall have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Financial need is a factor. If the recipient maintains eligibility he/she will be given preference in the selection process for the second year.

Herman Pasternack-Louis Veta Memorial Scholarship
Available to full-time students with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need will be considered.

Pope Family Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents taking classes on the main Cheyenne campus. Students shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Kimberly Prigge Munson Memorial Scholarship
Available to a student who is a single nontraditional parent. Preference will be given to Laramie County residents. Students shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Ron and Julie Rabou Family Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents who are non-traditional or returning students. Student shall maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to Education majors. Financial need is a factor.

Amanda S. and Oscar W. Schmale Memorial Scholarship
Available to full time students. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Dr. Dean and Karen Schroeder Scholarship
Available to students pursuing a major in anthropology, sociology, psychology, history, political science, legal studies, criminal justice, geology, or social work. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Mary and Clarence Surdam Memorial Scholarship
Available to students taking classes on the LCCC/Albany County Campus. Student shall have and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA.

Tau Kappa Epsilon-Gamma Alpha Chapter Board of Control
Available to dependents of Gamma Alpha alumni, in his/her first undergraduate degree program.

Vietnam Veterans' Dependents Scholarship
Available to descendants of Vietnam-era veterans. Students must be Wyoming residents attending LCCC full-time; a 2.5 GPA is required. Preference will be given to Albany County residents.

Anna Vondrak Memorial Scholarship
Available to non-traditional students attending LCCC part-time. Students shall be a Wyoming resident attending the main Cheyenne campus. Students shall maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Bergetta, Samuel and Mauris Wilson Memorial Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents attending LCCC full-time. Student must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Priority will be given to students who have been involved in Laramie County 4-H or Laramie County FFA chapters.

WyHy Federal Credit Union
Available to graduating high school students, or any member who is planning to attend college full time for the fall 2008 semester. Applicants must have been a member of WyHy Federal Credit Union for at least one year and plan to attend a Wyoming accredited college. Kelsey Ann Altenbern Memorial Scholarship
Preference will be given to a 2nd year student who is on the women's soccer team or equine show team. The student shall be a full-time student maintaining a 2.5 grade point average.

Tom Burnside Memorial Scholarship
Available to male students who are attending full-time. Student shall be a Wyoming resident with preference being given to students who are a veteran or active duty guard or military. Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

B.J. and Frances Rush Caldwell Memorial Scholarship
available to students enrolled in classes through the Albany County Campus.

Cheyenne Sunrise Rotary Centennial Project
Available to residents of Laramie County who are full-time LCCC students.

Roseine Church Memorial
Available to single parents enrolled at LCCC.

Coca-Cola Two-Year College Scholarship Program
Available to students attending one of 1,600 selected two-year colleges and technical institutions.

Carrie Dailey Memorial Scholarship
Available to full-time Wyoming residents demonstrating financial need. Preference will be given to a non-traditional student attending class on the main Cheyenne campus.

Daughters of Penelope Scholarship
Available to a female student entering their  sophomore year. Student shall have or maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Floyd E. and Helen E. Derr Memorial Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents enrolled at LCCC for at least six credit hours.

Donovan Scholarship
Available to non-traditional students attending the main, Cheyenne, campus.

John and Eileen Ely Scholarship
Available to non-traditional students majoring in vocational or general studies. Students must be attending the Albany County Campus as a full-time student.

Art Ellis Scholarship
Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA; preference will be given to a working student.

First Education Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Available to member of the First Education Federal Credit Union. Student must be a Wyoming resident enrolled in either a degree or certificate program maintaining a 2.5 GPA.

Frontier Refinery Scholarship
Available to Laramie County resident maintaining a 2.0 GPA. Student must be a high school graduate or GED recipient.

Jack and Amanda Funk Scholarship
Available to a dependent LCCC student who is receiving less than $200 in federal assistance.

Kathy Carley Gamble Memorial Scholarship
Available to a needy student attending LCCC and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Gronenthal Family Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents maintaining a 2.5 GPA.

Available to Wyoming residents attending the main, Cheyenne, campus.

Guille-Ivester Scholarship
Available to a Wyoming resident attending classes in Cheyenne.

Available to Wyoming residents attending the main, Cheyenne, campus.

Kay and Jerry Jessen Family Scholarship
Available to full-time, non-traditional female students who have completed at least one full-time semester of college. Student shall maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Andrew Simes Jessup Family Memorial Scholarship
Available to graduates of Cheyenne public high schools who are attending LCCC.

Hazel K. Johnson Veteran's Scholarship
Available recipients must be a documented VA student or be a documented dependent of an active duty individual or of a veteran (DD214). Preference will be given to spouses. Students shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Ret. Msgt. Jerald A. Jones Memorial
Available to VA or active military students. Students shall maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Laird/Lewis Families' Spirit Scholarship 
Available to East or Central High School graduates. Preference will be given to first generation students. Students must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor and those students who are ineligible to receive Federal Pell Grants will be given preference.

Jim Lamprecht Memorial
Available to United States residents maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA.

LCCC Veterans Book Grant
Available to Veterans enrolling in at least six credit hours. Must be receiving educational benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill during the period in which the scholarship will be awarded. Financial need and cumulative GPA may be considered.

Herman "Bud" Lingle Memorial Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents seeking a degree in a vocational field. Students shall have and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Preference will be given to first generation college students.

John McHenry Memorial - available to Laramie County resident attending LCCC as a part-time student taking 1-6 credit hours.

Johnnie McKinney Memorial Scholarship
Available to residents of Wyoming with demonstrated financial need enrolled at LCCC. Minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Mechanical Systems, Inc.
Available to Wyoming residents attending classes on the main Cheyenne campus. Student shall have and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Miller Family Trust Scholarship
Available to an alumni of Hobbs Elementary School attending or who will be attending classes full-time at LCCC. Student shall have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.

PEO Sisterhood, Chapter AD Scholarship
Available to female Laramie County residents taking classes on the Cheyenne campus. Student must be taking at least 8 credit hours and must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Augusta C. Peterson Memorial Scholarship
Available to graduates of a Laramie County high school with a minimum GPA of 2.25. Financial need will be considered.

J.O. Reed Vocational Scholarship
Available to Laramie or Campbell County residents attending classes on the main Cheyenne campus. Students must be full-time students and maintain a 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Reiman Corp. Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents attending the main Cheyenne campus as full-time students. Students shall maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Nathan L. Sherard Scholarship
Available to first-generation college students who are working at least part time while attending LCCC. Student must maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Financial need is a factor.

Simpson Electric Co. Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents pursuing a degree in a vocational technical field. Student must be full-time and maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Financial need is a factor.

Mark and Patsy Stege Family Scholarship
Available to nontraditional, full-time students with preference given to students who are a member of the Calvary Chapel Church. Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Francis and Jimmie Thornton Scholarship
Available to non-traditional students. Student shall maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Three Hierarchs Ladies Philoptochos Society Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents who are single parents or foster children. Students shall have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Wal Mart Scholarship
Available to full-time or part-time student who has obtained their high school diploma or GED. Student must maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Hal and Sue Wedel Scholarship
Available to an Albany County resident non-traditional female. Student shall attend classes on the Albany County Campus. Financial need is a factor. Submit with this application a brief narrative of your financial circumstances. Financial need is a factor.

Wyoming National Bank Scholarship
Available to Albany County residents entering LCCC as non-traditional, head-of-household, returning students. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Wyoming National Guard Endowment - Available to full-time or part-time students who are active members of the Wyoming National Guard.

Wyoming Physical Therapy, P.C. Scholarship
Available to students who are employees of Wyoming Physical Therapy, P.C. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Available to member or dependent of member of the Airport Golf Club Association.

American Association of University Women Scholarship (pdf)
Available to returning students.

Doug Beach Memorial Scholarship (pdf)
Preference without conditions will be given to the biological children of Doug Beach. Second preference will be given to the children of IAFF members in good standing who work for or are retired from one of the (5) paid professional fire departments in the state of Wyoming. Third preference will be given to any student who has declared a major in a Fire or EMS field. Students must be Wyoming residents.

Kathy Boheler Memorial Scholarship (pdf)
Available to students who have completed at least 24 college level credit hours, maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, are residents of Laramie County and are enrolled in a degree-seeking program.

Floreine E. Clark Memorial Scholarship, P.E.O. Chapter Z (pdf)
Available to female Wyoming residents. Students must have completed at least 12 college level credits and plan to enroll as full-time students for the fall semester. Deadline is June 1.

Mark Alan Doherty Scholarship Fund (pdf)
Available to Laramie County residents who are attending the main Cheyenne campus as a full-time student.

Frontier Refinery-South Cheyenne Community Development (pdf)
Available to Laramie County residents who reside within the boundaries represented by the South Cheyenne Community Development Association.

LCCC Staff Senate/Randy B. Miller Memorial (pdf)
Available to Wyoming residents who are full-time LCCC students. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Martin Luther King Book Grant (pdf)
Available to students having demonstrated financial need and at least a 2.0 GPA.

Lowell James Lamprecht Memorial Scholarship (pdf)
Available to needy students enrolling in at least 10 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Recipients must be U.S. citizens. Preference will be given to children of single parents.

Laramie County DUI Victim Impact Memorial Scholarship (pdf)
Available to students attending LCCC and maintaining a 2.5 GPA. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who submits an original piece of work on how drunk driving has had a negative impact on their life or in the community. The original piece could include artwork, story, poem, graphic design, writing, collage, or drawing.

Johnnie McKinney Memorial Scholarship Fall (pdf)
Available to residents of Wyoming who demonstrate financial need and a minimum high school or college GPA of 2.0 (C).

Available to residents of Wyoming who demonstrate financial need and a minimum high school or college GPA of 2.0 (C).

James and Vicki Medina Family Scholarship (pdf)
Available to Wyoming residents attending LCCC's Cheyenne campus. Students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to a Hispanic student. Financial need is a factor.

Sons of American Legion Post 6 Scholarship (pdf)
Preference will be given to a student who is a veteran or a dependent of a veteran, but may be given to a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 6. Financial need is a factor.

Donna Torvik Memorial Scholarship (pdf)
Available to Laramie County residents with a prior high school or college GPA of 2.0. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate involvement in helping others at the high school or community level.

Union Pacific Railroad Career Enhancement Scholarship (pdf)

The Wind Energy Technology Scholarship
Available to students majoring in Wind Energy Technology. Students must have or maintain a 3.0 GPA, be full time and attend the main Cheyenne campus.

Duke Energy Scholarship
Available to students majoring in Wind Energy or an energy-related field. Students must have or maintain a 3.0 GPA and must be full time.

FCI Constructors Inc. Scholarship
Available to students pursuing a degree in Wind Energy Technology or HVAC. Students must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and be full time. Students must demonstrate financial need as determined by the financial aid office.

Edison Mission Energy Scholarship
Available to students pursuing a degree/certificate in Wind Energy. Students must have or maintain a 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to a student who is low income or is struggling to financially support themselves or their families while attending school.

Jackson Family Scholarship
Available to students majoring in Wind Energy Technology or HVAC-R. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA, attend the Albany Campus, have a high school diploma and demonstrate financial need.

Hazel K. Johnson Vocational Scholarship
Available to female students. Student shall maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming Scholarship
Available to Wyoming resident pursuing a health-related degree. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Applicant cannot be affiliated with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming.

Dola Edington-CNA Caring Spirit Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents who have been accepted into the CNA program. Students must be attending classes on the main, Cheyenne, campus.

Heiduck Family Scholarship
Available to full-time students majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy with the intent to pursue Sports Medicine. The student shall maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Carol and Earl Kabeiseman Scholarship
Available to students who have declared Nursing or Radiography as their major, but have not yet been admitted into the program. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Available to a Wyoming resident who has been accepted into the Nursing Program. Student shall have a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA.

Allied Health Field Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents majoring in an Allied Health field attending classes on the main campus. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Kevin and Esther Byrne Endowment
Available to full-time (11 credits or more) LCCC nursing students. Student must be a Wyoming residents attending classes on the main Cheyenne campus. Student shall maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Available to full-time students taking classes who are enrolled in an Allied Health major. Students shall be taking classes on the Cheyenne campus and maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Available to residents of Laramie County attending LCCC as full-time students. Must have completed more than 12 credit hours and be in the medical field or a business major. Student must maintain a 2.5 GPA and be a single parent.

JFG Memorial
Available to Wyoming residents pursuing a degree in health science, science or computer technologies. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Dorothy Kadlec Memorial Surgical Technology Scholarship
Available to full-time students pursuing a degree in Surgical Technology. Student shall have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75. A recommendation from the Director of the Surgical Technology program must be submitted with application.

LCCC Foundation Nursing Scholarship
Available to full-time students enrolled in the nursing program.

Martin and Opal Petersen Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents pursuing a degree in allied health. Student shall maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Phillip W. Brown Memorial Scholarship
Available to students who have been accepted into the Nursing Program. Student shall have a minimum 2.50 GPA.

Available to Wyoming residents majoring in a medical field or Education attending the Cheyenne campus. Student must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Phyllis Bach Memorial Scholarship
Available to second year, full-time nursing students. Students shall maintain a 2.5 GPA and be attending classes on the Cheyenne campus.

Available to students pursuing a degree in Allied Health (Nursing, Radiography, Surgical Technology and additional degree programs as they are added to the division). Student shall have and maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA.

Available to nursing students who are single parents. The student shall maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Women of the Moose Nursing Scholarship
Available to students with financial need majoring in Nursing. Minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.

Southeast Wyoming District Dental Society Scholarship
Available to full-time Laramie County Community College students who maintain a 2.0 grade point average while attending LCCC (submit a current transcript), are high school graduates, and have been accepted into, enrolled in and completed 12 credit hours in the Dental Hygiene program.

Wyoming Dental Association Scholarship
Available to third semester Dental Hygiene student maintaining a 2.5 GPA.

Joe and Jean Phelan Scholarship (pdf)

Mary Lou Burr Scholarship
Available to students enrolled in the Radiography Technologist degree program. Student shall maintain a 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to a Laramie County resident. Preference will also be given to a student not receiving federal assistance through PELL.

Merrell Family Radiography/ Sonography Scholarship
Student must be currently enrolled in either the radiography or sonography program with a 3.0 GPA.

Clark Wissler Anthropology Scholarship
Available to students seeking a degree in Anthropology or Sociology. Students must be residents of Wyoming attending LCCC as full-time students. Submit with this application a brief narrative of your financial circumstances.

 
 

Buzz Davis – Laramie County Silent-Witness Crime Stoppers Scholarship
Available to Laramie County residents attending LCCC as a full-time student. Student shall be enrolled in the Criminal Justice program. The student shall maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average.

Laramie County Peace Officer's Association/Brandan Wilkins Memorial Scholarship
Available to Laramie County students who will be attending school as full-time students. Students will possess and maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA. Preference will be given to students majoring in Criminal Justice or related fields. Members of Laramie County Peace Officer's Association may major in any subject.

Fraternal Order of Police
Available to residents of Platte, Albany, Laramie or Goshen counties who are majoring in Criminal Justice. Students shall possess and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Children of FOP members are also eligible to receive this scholarship.

George Woolsey Memorial Scholarship Available to Wyoming residents who are attending LCCC as full-time students. Students must maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA. Preference will be given to a student enrolled in courses leading to a criminal justice degree. Student shall be attending classes on the main Cheyenne Campus.

John A. Lang Memorial Scholarship
Available to Wyoming residents majoring in criminal justice. Students must possess and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Wyoming Law Enforcement Family Scholarship
Preference will be given to a student majoring in a degree field of Criminal Justice; second preference to students majoring in EMT or Paralegal; if not students available from those areas third preference to students majoring in the Social Science Division

Wyoming Peace Officers Association Scholarship (pdf)
Available to 1.) A dependent of an active, lifetime or deceased lifetime member of Wyoming Peace Officers Association. Students must enroll in and complete at least 12 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA. 2.) Any Wyoming resident enrolled in a law enforcement program. Students must enroll in and complete at least 12 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA. 3.) Any active or retired Wyoming law enforcement officer enrolled in a law enforcement major. 4.) Any pre-service student who has successfully completed a peace officer basic course or detention officer basic course offered by the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy.

Available to Wyoming residents attending LCCC as full-time students. Students must be majoring in an Engineering related field. Preference will be given to a single parent.

Thomas E. Kilty Engineering/Physics Scholarship
Available to students who have completed Physics 1310/1320 or any engineering course at the 2xxx level. Students have completed the course with a 3.0 GPA. Financial need is a factor.

Available to Wyoming residents who have a declared major in Engineering. Financial need is a factor.

Student shall be a graduate of a Laramie County high school. The student shall attend LCCC as a full-time student. Preference will be given to a sophomore student majoring in Engineering.

Southeast Wyoming Builders Association Scholarship (pdf)
Available legal residents of Laramie County. Students must be a current senior student at a Laramie County High School; or be a graduate of a High School; or have a G.E.D. Must have a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. Course of study must directly relate to the Building and Construction Industry (i.e. Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, Construction Technology, Business, Accounting, Finance and Landscaping). Have significantly contributed to his or her school or community by way of involvement in extra-curricular activities, including, but not limited to: service clubs or organizations, honor societies, choir, orchestra, band, athletics, speech or debate teams, fine or performing arts, Scouts, FFA, and 4-H.

Available to a second-year member of the Women's Soccer team with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Awarded to a player who performs above and beyond on the field and off.
