LCCC’s Partnership Diploma Program to hold celebration on May 18

Cheyenne, Wyo. - The Partnership Diploma Program (PDP) at Laramie County Community College is recognizing its 2017 high school graduates at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, in LCCC's Center for Conferences and Institutes. All past graduates and instructors from the program are welcome to attend.

The program has been a partnership between LCCC and Laramie County School District 1 since 2007. The goal of the PDP is to offer customized learning experiences for students facing extenuating circumstances in their lives, but who want to complete their high school diploma.

Since its inception, the program has helped 154 students successfully earn their high school diploma. Approximately 60 percent of graduating students transitioned to LCCC on a career pathway identified during their PDP experience. Graduates have also gone to other post-secondary institutions, the military, or into the workforce.
