It’s Time for LCCC’s Annual “National Library Week” Bookmark Design Contest

National Library Week starts April 8, and LCCC’s Ludden Library is again hosting a bookmark design contest to celebrate the occasion.

Designs should incorporate the theme “Libraries Lead.” Participants are welcome to use colored pencils, markers, paints or more to create a colorful, original, hand-drawn design (no computer-generated illustrations).

By 4 p.m. on Friday, April 13, submit your design on the back of an official LCCC Ludden Library National Library Week Bookmark along with a completed entry form, available at the library. Winners will be announced on May 4.

Winners will receive their choice of a pre-selected award-winning new book and have their creation reproduced on bookmarks distributed throughout LCCC’s Cheyenne campus. All designs become the property of the LCCC Ludden Library and cannot be returned.

For more information, call (307) 778-1278.
