Laramie County Community College to share recommended new name with community

CHEYENNE, Wyoming – Laramie County Community College invites media representatives to attend a community gathering on Aug. 17, where LCCC President Dr. Joe Schaffer will share the recommended new name for the college following a four-year process of research, engagement and input from individuals across the region.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. in the ANB Bank Leadership Center, Clay Pathfinder Building on the Cheyene campus. Comments will be at 4:30 p.m.

Dr. Schaffer will be available for interviews following his remarks on Aug. 17. For media unable to attend, interview opportunities may also be arranged on the morning of Aug. 18.
