LCCC Rodeo Coach Seth Glause named Central Rocky Mountain Region Coach of the Year

CHEYENNE, WY – Laramie County Community College Head Rodeo Coach Seth Glause has been named Central Rocky Mountain Region Coach of the Year.

Glause, who is in his third season at LCCC, has guided both the LCCC women’s and men’s rodeo teams into the top five in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings. The Golden Eagles women’s team is sitting in fourth place in the region with 1105.0 points while the men are in fifth with 2625.96 points. 

Under the guidance of Glause, six Golden Eagles are currently in the top five of the Central Rocky Mountain Region in their respective events. Cauy Pokorny leads the region in steer wrestling while Stefan Tonita sits second in bull riding.

Glause is a former National Rodeo Finals qualifier in saddle bronc and bull riding in 2007 and 2008. 

LCCC also earned Central Rocky Mountain Region Rodeo of the Year for the 2020 Shawn Dubie Memorial Rodeo, held at Frontier Park.

The Golden Eagles are currently wrapping up the spring season at the Colorado State University Rodeo this weekend in Greeley, Colo.
