What is The Kickoff?

We want to officially welcome you to the LCCC family. The Kickoff is an event held before each Fall and each Spring semester that gives students a chance to explore campus, find their classes, and make connections with classmates and instructors.

Can my [parent/child/partner/friend/family member] come with me?

Absolutely! Your decision to attend LCCC impacts more than just you. You are welcome to bring your family, friends, or support system to come celebrate and learn about LCCC with you! We do kindly ask that each student only bring a maximum of 2 additional guests. If this may prevent you from attending, please contact us at kickoffFREELARAMIE and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

What if I have to work and would have to leave the event early or come to the event late?

While it's best if you can be here for the whole event, so you don't miss out on anything, we know you have other stuff going on in your life too. We still encourage you to attend even if you can only make it for part of the time!

What is the purpose of The Kickoff?

There is a lot to know about when you are getting started at LCCC. The purpose of The Kickoff is to start getting you connected to the information, people, and resources you might need!

The event will allow you the flexibility to learn about the things that feel most important for you at the time -- whether you're worried about understanding your financial aid, getting textbooks, finding your classes, meeting your instructors, exploring ways to get involved and meet people, or any number of other things!

The Kickoff lets you get more comfortable on campus, learning where things are, and making connections with other students, and the faculty and staff that are here to support you.
