LCCC confers certified public manager credentials to 16 graduates

CHEYENNE, WYO. — Sixteen participants received their Wyoming Certified Public Manager credential from Laramie County Community College this month.

The graduates are David Birge, Enterprise Technology Services; Heather R. Gifford, Department of Health; Christian Graham, Department of Workforce Services; Jeri Griego, Laramie County Community College; Corrine Livers, Department of Family Services; Carl "Andy" Losasso, Department of Workforce Services; Danita Martinez, Department of Family Services; Leesha McIntire, Department of Workforce Services; Annette Mello, Department of Workforce Services; Cynthia Miller, Enterprise Technology Services; James Reed, Department of Workforce Services; Tara Rood, Holly Frontier; Sheryl Roub, Department of Health; Jan Spires, City of Cheyenne; Kristy Westfall; and Susan Wurth, Enterprise Technology Services.

All participants were asked to develop and initiate delivery on a project that brings new efficiencies to their respective organization. Projects addressed efficiencies in program application and service response times, training, and succession planning, all saving their organizations thousands of dollars.

The CPM program is designed to develop the critical skills demanded by leaders in public and nonprofit sectors within one state. The nationally recognized program consists of 11 multiple-day sessions during the year. LCCC is the only accredited program in Wyoming to offer the CPM credential opportunity.
