LCCC’s “Learning is for Everyone” coming to the community in February

CHEYENNE, WYO. — The opportunity for learning is for everyone regardless of age, and this year's crop of LIFE classes at Laramie County Community College confirms that ideal.

LIFE (Learning is for Everyone) classes take place on Saturdays, Feb. 25 and March 4 and 11. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and include morning and afternoon sessions in addition to a lunch with a featured guest speaker.

Programming is tailored to those who are 50+, retired or even semi-retired. However, anyone is welcome to register. Participants will have a number of class options for each of the six sessions. The partial list of topics include:

  • Practical Italian
  • Cryptograms
  • Retirement Planning
  • Computer & Internet Basics
  • History of World War II
  • Women in Aviation
  • Let's Talk Faith

The cost of $75 covers classes on all three Saturdays, as well as all lunches, snacks and beverages.

Registration continues through Feb. 17. To sign up, contact LCCC's office of Outreach and Workforce Development at (307) 778-1236. More information, including the complete schedule of classes, is available at lccc.wy.edu/workforce.
