Amanda Brinkman to speak at LCCC

CHEYENNE, Wyoming – Laramie County Community College is excited to announce that Amanda Brinkman, a nationally renowned brand expert, Forbes contributor and on-camera personality, will be presenting at the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium on the Cheyenne campus at 6 p.m. on March 7. This event, free and open to the public, is part of the LCCC Foundation’s First Interstate Bank Progress and Prosperity Community Conversation Series.

Brinkman is known for her innovative approach to branding and marketing, as well as her advocacy for small businesses. As the CEO of Sunshine Studios and the creator, producer and host of the Emmy-nominated series "Small Business Revolution," Brinkman has dedicated her career to helping businesses and communities flourish. Her work emphasizes the "Do Well by Doing Good" philosophy, demonstrating that social responsibility and business success can go hand in hand.

Students and community members will find valuable information and actionable steps on personal branding, marketing and community growth and development, said Carole Boughton, LCCC’s Business & Accounting Pathway coordinator.

“As Wyoming continues to attract new business and build a foundation for entrepreneurship, Amanda’s award-winning, proven knowledge and experience will provide support for the future of all business in the state,” she said. “As we educate our future business leaders, I know Amanda will leave them with invaluable advice on maintaining a personal brand, marketing a business or idea and how to succeed in business.”

The event is part of the Cultural and Community Enrichment Series, a donor-funded initiative from the LCCC Foundation that brings artists, authors, business leaders, historians, philosophers, musicians, scientists, photographers, poets and other experts from around the country to the college. The series offers both students and the general public unique opportunities to learn from and engage with leading minds in various fields.

Brinkman's visit to LCCC is expected to be a highlight of this year's series, offering valuable insights into brand development, corporate social responsibility, and the power of purpose-driven business practices. Her experience as a speaker and a leader in creative and marketing fields makes her an ideal fit for the series, which aims to enrich the cultural and intellectual life of the college and the broader community.
