The ceremony will celebrate students who have completed their programs during the 2023-2024 academic year, awarding 820 credentials.

Commencement day uniquely highlights the ongoing efforts of students, faculty, and staff at LCCC throughout the year, LCCC President Joe Schaffer said.

“Our graduates are poised to begin a new chapter in their lives, and we trust that their experiences at LCCC have equipped them for the challenges ahead,” he said. “They remain an integral part of our vibrant campus community. Commencement offers us a chance to extend our best wishes to the graduates as they move forward to positively influence the communities and individuals they encounter.”

It’s important for the students completing their degrees to have a chance to celebrate their achievements, said Stacy Maestas, LCCC registrar. Commencement provides the opportunity for graduates to join their peers, instructors, administrators and loved ones in an unforgettable event.

Storey Gym is located at 2811 House Ave. Parking is free, with limited parking lot space. Street parking is available. The ceremony will be live-streamed at lccc.wy.edu/grad and recorded for guests who cannot attend in-person. There is limited ADA-accessible seating available; guests requiring this seating can request assistance from staff upon arrival.

A reception for graduates and their guests will be held in the courtyard outside of Storey Gym immediately following the ceremony.
