  • Holiday Collage concert to capture timeless beauty of the season

    CHEYENNE, WYOMING - Laramie County Community College's Music Department is bringing performances of seasonal music to campus with the Sixth Annual Holiday Collage concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium.

  • LCCC Board of Trustees announce December meetings

    CHEYENNE, WYOMING - The Laramie County Community College Board of Trustees will hold its regular business meeting on Wednesday, December 6 at 7 p.m. in the Center for Conferences & Institutes, room 129. The meeting will include 2024 officer elections and committee appointments for the Board and the annual academic program review for select programs.

  • STEM mobile lab takes enthusiasm for learning on the road

    Laramie County Community College freshman Amanda Sinnott said she first became interested in science when she attended Wyoming Starbase Academy in fifth grade. The U.S. Department of Defense youth program that invites students to participate in exciting, hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, opened up a world of interest for Sinnott.

  • California native found what he was looking for at LCCC

    Brandon Baggs knew what he wanted to do before he ever went to college. Growing up on a cattle ranch near Bakersfield, California, he built fences and worked with welding and fabrication as part of the normal course of life. It continued in high school with shop classes, and his teachers encouraged him to pursue his interest in building things. Becoming an engineer was what he wanted to do.

    Sculpture artwork by Tiffany Matheson will be on display from Oct. 30 - Dec. 14 in the Esther and John Clay Fine Art Gallery in the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
